@heX_ yes, that was the request; people felt that they could adjust the balance how they saw fit and would be able to experiment with all of their balance ideas - of course, that's something that's only recently really been dabbled with with the rebalance mod, which has petered out for the time being. It was also requested that they could have some mechanism of "rolling back" to previous versions (which you can do with the current script setup, assuming no breaking script API changes) - something I've never seen used in practice.

@Fuzzle you've had your thanks separately and weren't involved in making the initial requests.
re: the API code; if you're serious about it/know how the API and REST works/are familiar with how to use curl/have experience with C++98 (no new C++ allowed by legacy compilers/for library compatibility)/etc by all means get in contact. We haven't been able to find someone keen to replace it because of all the restrictions and how much of a mess the current implementation is; I'd be happy to sort out payment and accreditation for a working replacement library.

It could be possible, but I feel like it'd also be an easy way to incite more political infighting when someone who writes a one line fix for a minor bug gets the same reward as the poor souls looking at rewriting the builder logic - and providing more/better rewards for more help is definitely out of scope. When it comes down to it I really want the community to see that it's for their own good if they want to put their own hours towards the game, not just do it as a one-off to get bragging rights. It's definitely a delicate issue though.

well, after playing KAG for 4 years (don't look at the forum age), I'll go work on the wiki. Guess that would help even a little but :)

Alright so here is my POV. The wiki fixing hype never lasts long(i myself basically gave up on it after afew weeks because of irritation). Though there was alot done on it semi-recently if you want to give it a facelift you could add info for buckets, the animals, and mechanisms(i did some and @Kazaco97 did the bulk of information and he added all the pictures).

As for ingame moderation apparently the recruitment has turned into a more closed off thing which is probably better to get a feel for which admins will mesh with the already established group. My only issues with it is that the active playerbase is now kinda blind towards who might or might not get admin and that the practice of getting active good player from a group of inactive old players is not the best practice.
the issue of censorship is not 100% the problem. Obviously the macro image spam example is bad and could and should be against the rules. Though at the moment just plain spam of profile posts never get moderated(i may have done it once or twice in the past few months so im no saint). Id personally like to know what you mean by more tighter though(i know it might take you alittle while to think back to this post :P). Atm ive gotten into more than a few arguement about the rules and it is alittle hard to tell someone who doesnt want to hear that what you are doing violates no rules(though im sure afew recent problems will soon get resolved).
I think this is an issue right now as well. People dont want to actual discuss new ideas(and never did imo). People just skim something and without reading go apeshit about the idea being stupid. See my old threads about swords not destroying saws or arrows setting off mines(where people who only read the title cried and cried and said my entire thread was stupid). For someone less thick-skinned than me those type of things might be off-putting. I would also really like some way of being able to have something done when you get your post deleted for no reason. It is really infuriating when you completely defend your post and show without a fraction of a doubt that your post broke no rules and the admin can just ignore you from that point on. For admins(mostly ingame) i would just prefer a giant purge of the old ones that have stopped caring.

Ive been trying to do some stuff lately but i dont have the energy or focus to learn a whole scripting language try to fix things
dynamic community management. Maybe some people to hear our concerns when we(the actual players)repeatedly request something. I know i feel like a broken record when i ask people, who i know have the access to the inner circles and threads, when the U.S region will get more admins. I also know theyre sick and tired of my pestering. As for "more control in server" idk i've been floating around the idea in my head of active players getting autojoin. But i know that would just add more towards the circlejerk and maybe irritate admins(i remember the old meme where people would troll old admins and say "lol we know you only got admin for the auto join when full"). As for the moderation of forums i have no new issues right now and will just wait for clarity in the future.
I'd say that THD has treated their community just as bad at times(or atleast it felt that way after they spent all that time on trenchrun only to tell us "we're busy with other things" while we rage away at our want for bug fixes). I understand i only see my side, and that this is a buisness but sometimes it does feel personal. I dont want to go all thd hate right now but they have had 2 total successful games and abunch of flops. two specific games they worked on and hyped and just abandoned when it wasnt financially viable to continue(Trenchrun and Link-dead). That doesn't by any means make them bad people because i understand it is a buisness but i will hold back my love poems. As for the wiki i do realize paralogia did alot for it and i can respect that.
