Silly me,i should post some more info like the wiki's.
the game has 2 wiki's,i preffer this one over it because its a sort of newbie guide,and advanced but might lack an article or 2.

and i recommend the game highly for everyone,even if they dont like casual roguelikes
this is game is a gem for just 5$ and the storyline is a parody of pretty much all RPG's out there.

 

Add IVAN, it's a great roguelike, one of the hardest, most random and well... most violent. But it's fun as hell.

I don't really have any info on it, but look it up on Google, download it and see for yourself.

FirstPerson
Multiplayer
Boss battles
AND DungoenCrawling?

If you would call a game that has these things a roguelike then i gess Minecraft would count too!
(also one day dwarf fortress will have AdventureMode with building and digging ^^)

 

Roguelikes are not about first persons.
Only third persons.

 

Playing third person in minecraft is an option.
But i believe you meant top down right?

Gladius ! http://xenimus.com/Downloads.asp Xenimus was my first mmorpg and i fell for it very deeply, and gladius was sort of a rogue like RPG made by the same person back in 1996, its VERY difficult but very satisfying dungeon crawler. It takes alot of trial and error to learn what all the weapons and spells actually do, so brush up on your latin.

Awesomenauts, when it comes out. a DOTA platform shooter. Terraira has platform 2d shooting but you need to find a good server for it.
