RP- The Shroud descends

The shroud swallowed 2 more griffins into its great mass, it had won, the other griffins turned tail and fled. It qould command the zombies to make this a forward base of operations against the land. Meanwhile... a zombified griffin rose and flew towards the elves in the forest.

 

"Alright sounds good to me" Light sighed and fell back against a pillar. "Can i have my satchel back?" He laughs.

 

"Yeah sure, here you go." Raven says as he hands Light back the satchel.

 

Ella ducked down as the griffin swooped over her head. What? These were the guardians! But she soon noticed it wasn't a normal griffin, it was zombiefied. It was headed straight for the group of elves gathered in the forest. "Look out!" Ella yelled as it charged at a small child. But Maethon leapt out in front of it, the griffin's razor sharp claws easily sliced down his arm, a steady flow of blood trickled down. He cringed and braced himself agaisnt a tree. But the monster wasn't done. It swooped forward for a second attack. "Maethon!" Ella yelled, pulling out her bow and firing at the creature. "Shoot it!" Another elven archer shouted. The elves pulled out their bows and a barrage of around 20 arrows buried themselves in the griffin. It screeched and fell to the ground.
Ella looked around for her Grandfather. Fortunately he had managed to make it here safely. Maethon groaned. "Oh no.." Ella said, moving closer to see the wound. He tore off a peice of cloth from his shirt and rapped it around the wound, biting his lip. "I'll be.. fine.." He said. Ella drew some light magic into her hands and spread it over the wound. It had a weak effect, but seemed to heal a small amount. A worried frown creased her face.
"We have to keep moving." Maethon said, standing up straighter. The elves nodded. "If we can make it to the Calaper Caves we should be able to barricade ourselves inside." One of the archers said.
So they trudged off through the forest, moving as quickly as they could towards the ancient caves.

 

*sits back and looks for a drink in the satchel/Pulls out a beaten up apple and a flask of water Light slowly reaches for his sword and cuts the apple right down the middle and throws it at raven* "Here its something to eat" As he giggles "So.. Do you know any magic?"

 

"Well, I'm an apprentice of Arcane Magic. My Combat teacher, Ewan Roberts taught me everything I know bout it. But I chose to leave it." Raven said as he was about to eat the apple.

 

"Hm... When we get out of here want to learn from me?" Light said*pats ravens head and grins/while light lifts up his own arm barley and snaps his finger sending a little fire spark through the air*

 

"Naw, I left it ages ago." Raven explained.

 

"Well.. the offers always open, i believe magic comes from the heart and the stronger your will the stronger your going to be" Light said "I hear some foot steps coming from up there" *Light points up a staircase thats down the corridor."

 

"Hm? What is it? A skeleton cyclops?" Raven asked in curiousity.

 

"Hm..Funny joke" Light said with a sigh as he looked down the hall he notices a beat up wolf of some kind with one boned leg.

 

Loud stomps were heard. Then a roar. It got louder and louder. "Hmm... Whoa! Watch out!" Raven shouted. Raven jumped out of the Cyclop's range, though it almost hit Light. "Well, this was bound to happen." Raven said.

 

Light snaps and bolts towards the dog grabbing it and rolling into a wall "Take care of that dam thing, you jinxed it!" Light yelled at raven

 

"Hey! Not my fault! It was foretold!" Raven said. He charged to the monster to attempt to snap its bones.

 

A deathly snarl enscribed on his face, Ugos marched out of the house.
He was on a mission.
As he stepped out to the gloomy square of Retribution, he saw the angel. "Aspathe!"
"Come here, stupid brute." An evil voice sneered. LArk stepped out and held his battered knife, a mental look in his eyes, to Aspathe's throat.
Ugos cringed as a drop of blood made it's solemn way to the earth.
"What do you want, traitor?"

 

Light holds the dog and sits against the wall "Jeez... What are you doing here little fella..? what are you anyway..." He looks at the dog -Dog just looks back with a blank stare- "Stay! Right here!" He says to the dog while standing up and running to help raven

 

"It's too armoured! We might need some magic." Raven suggested as he puts his sword back and prepares to charge up some Arcane power.

 

Light runs up to it and sets his fist a blaze quickly and melts a fist sized hole through the armor in the shin and rips the bone out "Go for it!" Light quid to raven

 

Raven casted his spell, and it went right inside the bones of the monster, and the bones were cracking. "Here's our chance." Raven said. He charged foward with his sword to rend all the bones.

 

Light stabbed his sword into the area where he ripped the bone out to cause the creature more pain. "Finish this off!" Light yelled
