Lark open fired on the Icebound, faking his death several times. He was eventually cornered at an icy glacier, he took a step back but found his foot over the edge. He had a dizzying feel of vertigo, he looked back to see a sword pointed at his collarbone. He could either stay here and face certain death, or take his chances with whatever horrors lurked beneath those icy waters. The sword came down in a devastating arc and Lark tumbled off the edge.

Light thinks about everything thats going on. The shroud, his friends...then his dad. Light trys to sit up but all he can do is struggle without arms. He thinks what Ugos had done but all he can do is tear up over it without any anger. "I'm leaving." He says quietly

Lark washed up on the shore, beaten and wet. He was alive at least, he walked off towards a house he could see.

Crawling, ever so slowly, towards... nothing.
Ugos continued his struggle to retain some remnants of life.
What was he going to do?
He'd lost a lot of blood, he had nowhere to go...

For what seemed like days he crawled. The only thought that kept him going were his oaths. To avenge his brother and kill the person who shot him.
Little did he know they were the same person.
After what were really hours, but seemed like years, he found something. He had been going around a coastline, and he now spotted some sort of rudimentary house. The landscape had changed, too; it was a pine forest now, rather than a bleak snowy wonderland.
When he finally reached the house he was no longer the proud, strong Orc he once was. He was a frozen runt, stripped of any beef he had.
He had no chance for combat now, but as he heard a noise behind him he turned, weakly. He registered a skeletal figure, saturated to the, literally, bone. Lark...
    Was it him?
    Who was Lark?
    Lark? What was that again?
    Why was he here?
    Where WAS he?
All of these fuzzy questions drifted around Ugos' frozen brain. Lark walked towards the half-dead (Or nine-tenths dead) Orc.

Light noticed Ella turned her back from him.. he said the words from before ever so quietly and struggling but somehow managed to get up he leaned against the wall and went out of the cave. Light only had one thought in mind... the dragon.. the wyvern.. he needs to meet it. Light struggled to walk in his condition but he used the tree's around the area to move ever so slowly around. He only knew the direction lark had pointed in where his homeland was which the dragon resided.

Lark walked up to Ugos, "Ugos? Is that you?" Lark desperately tried to heal his old friend.

Ella turned around to check on Light. But to her surprise he was no longer there. "Light?" She called, looking around. Oh no, he'd probably gone back to the forest. She couldn't let him wander around, armless, all by himself. She charged out the cave in search of him.

Light has been stumbling through the forest for a few hours now hes a good distance away from the cavern. He leans against a tree and catches his breath Light has no idea what to do about anything. Hes wondering why this has happened, what has he done.. he just wanted to help a few new friends he has met. They had there own big huge destiny like goals. He just wanted to go out into life a little. An average man with a few tricks up his sleeve around non-average beings. Light slides down the tree hes leaning on and sits back against it. Slowly he falls asleep.

    //goodnight
When you dream, you can escape from the harshness of reality. Any pain that has been inflicted on you just disappears if you choose to let it go. In your dreams, you are king. Master. Or whatever you want to call it. The point is, you choose what goes. Or what stays.
Which is why Aspathe was so confused.
She 'woke up' in a strange forest, healed. The ground and sky was pitch black, no way of telling where one ends and the other begins. Mysterious plants glowed in neons, but did not give off any light. She wanted to go away, but the scenery didn't change. She remained where she was standing. This was her first clue that she wasn't dreaming. Scared, she began to run blindly, crashing into bright yellow and blue trees. She soon became aware of a familiar smell. This was her second clue. It reminded her of flying, and of the warm sun, and of being without a care. It reminded her of home. Drawn towards it, she soon saw a hooded figure ahead. Behind him, a doorway.
Aspathe's body still lay in the ditch that Lark left her in. Her pulse is fluttery, her breathing light. She wasn't dead yet.
    But she wasn't far off.

//I hope this isn't against the rules

The shroud returned to Gorth, and received its next target, Prospor.

Meanwhile, an Icebound soldier walked over to Aspathe's body, "what should we do sir?" he asked. "Throw her over the glacier and into the water the skeleton went into, if she's not dead she will be then." Replied a captain, "yes sir," the soldier replied.

Raven was sent flying, and got smashed through some trees. "Gah." He moaned. "Had enough?" Dark Raven asked. "Ugh.." Raven replied. "Now, hand me your badge!" Dark Raven commanded. "Oh, this? Well, never!" Raven roared. "Foolish child. You will now meet your doom." Dark Raven said. He summoned a giant amount of dark energy, and fired it at Raven. He was sent flying once again, and was hit multiple times by more bolts. Raven fell to the ground, but bounced off it. Then, he got smashed into a tree, and fell to the ground. Dark Raven attempted to take the Badge that Raven had obtained in a dream... But he got blown away by wind, summoned by Raven. Raven then took the advantage, and charged foward at high speed. He hit Dark Raven, and sent him flying far away, but knocked out himself.

Ella wandered across the edge of the forest, searching for signs of the direction Light had taken. She discovered some broken twigs, a few scuff marks. Following them led her away from the caves and deeper into the forest. In the distance she could hear the sounds of the Elves fighting the undead.
"Light?" She called out, peering out into the forest. No response.
The leaves crunched under her boots as she trudged through the forest. Time slowly ticked by, the sun inching it's way towards the ground. The light was fading by the time she reached the end of the trail. "Light?" She called. Her eyes flickered around, searching for him. The trees casting grey shadows across the forest floor. Her eyes caught sight of a foot and she looked up. There he is, sitting back against a tree. He was sound asleep, his eyes tightly closed.
She couldn't bare to wake him, after everything he'd been through sleep would do him good. She sat down in front of a nearby tree, curling into a ball. Tomorrow is a new day.

Lark noticed his old home, then he realised where he was, the old Ranger base. He dragged Ugos inside and put him down on the bed, he grabbed some leaves and bandages. "Chew this and swallow if you want to live," he said as he popped the leaves in his mouth and applied bandages. After that he heard a knock on his door, he walked outside to be tackled by Falucis's pet werewolf Raxor, and knocked him towards a cliff. Lark looked below at the sharp rocks, Raxor prepared to send him to his pointy death.

Raxor let out a yelp of pain and tumbled off the edge, Falucis rose up behind him. "I know I've tried to kill you but we were best friends as rangers. I know about the wyvern here, tame him and we can have a truce. After all where would you be right now without me?" Lark saw that treacherous glint in his eyes, "what a great question," he replied, and punched his also skeletal rival right in the face, denting his skull. Falucis went for his sword but he was chopped in the back. Lark then grabbed his skull, and tore it right out, then tossed Falucis's skull still connected to his spine over the edge and spat in the water, he then returned to the slight firm of Ugos.

Light woke up in the middle of night to see Ella across from him. He sighs "Oh jeez.. she followed me all the way out here.." Light coughs up some blood and some how manages to take off his torn shirt and cover it on Ella so she stays some what warm. "You stop here now okay.. its too dangerous." Light says talking to an asleep Ella he crouches down and looks at her with a grin. "If i had a hand right now i'd pat your head." He says laughing slightly but in tremendous pain. Light clenches his toes into the ground and sprints as fast as he can towards Larks homeland.

Ugos murmured something in Orcish as he munched the foul leaves. He was tired... he was sick... Why stay around?
    Oru... That's why...
    Don't stay for a corpse!
Ugos fought a mental battle for life, and as the leaves healed him he got closer to life.
    "thanks...Lark...thanks...uhhnn.."

"Don't worry about that noise outside, do you remember Falucis and Raxor? If you do, well they'll be taking a VERY long nap." Lark opened a trapdoor which led to a cellar with a pool, "the rangers rested in here after battles, this water heals and cures most ailments." Lark walked outside to look for the wyvern, struggling to remember the name the rangers had given it.

The person was the final clue. Aspathe slowly walked towards him.
"Is this the end?" Aspathe asked sadly. From where she stood, she couldn't see Death's face. She wasn't sure she wanted to. Either way, he turned.
    "Not yet," he replied, smiling.
Aspathe expected him to have a skull for a head. Instead, much to her surprise, he looked normal. Pale skin, dark hair, grey eyes. And incredibly handsome.
"I need you," he continued, "to stay in the world. I need you to continue your work."
    He took a step closer.
"After all, you do have a unique... profession that is in the interest of me that you keep it. Because of that, I'm willing to allow you to go back."
On the back of her neck in the sunburst, he traced a triangle. When completed it glowed.
"This will allow you to see and access portals that I have made. Those glowing blue lead back to here. Remember," said Death, grasping her shoulders, "Don't allow anyone to know about them. If they do, kill them. Now, I believe that this is your exit."
He pointed to a door that Aspathe didn't see before. She walked towards it.
"Now, don't make a habit out of dieing," shouted Death, "and you might want to hurry, they're chucking your body down a cliff" he added, after referring to a strange tablet made of metal. The side he was looking at casted white light on his face.
    Aspathe race towards the door.

Lark finally remembered it's name, Grimclaw. Lark saw that very wyvern, the last wyvern, flying down below. He ran towards the edge and dived directly at it.

Light reaches a strange area, the seems to look like a village or city. "Maybe this is larks homeland...." He says sighing heavly with battered bruises and scars. Along with dirty feet and cuts from sprinting his way all night. "ahhh!!!!!!!!!!" Light screams at the top of his lungs to get any attention in the area he can
