RP- The Shroud descends

"Have you really think for me to be this weak?" Arthen said. He then slowed down time and teleported himself away. Meanwhile, Astaroth blocks the first light beam but is slightly damaged by the second. He then turns the sky purple and makes it rain more shadow bolts.

 

A shadow bolt crashed to the ground, metres from Ella. She leapt to the side, curling into a ball as the dark energy whizzed around. Suddenly an idea came to her. She drew an arrow from her back and placed her hands around it. It began to become charged with light magic, the head heating until it was white. Ella grinned. She pulled out her bow and loaded her charged arrow, launching it at Astaroth's head.

 

The arrow had pierced Astaroth, completely destroying his mask, and wounding him. He shouted in anger, and this time made the sky go red. With demons at his side raining from it. "Graaahhhhhh" Raven said. He was fully transformed now. He flew at Astaroth.

 

Lord Skorge stabbed Arthen in the throat brutally and threw him to the side, he then went over to attack Astaroth but stopped, turned around and grabbed Ella by the throat, he turned to Astaroth, his body language said, "How about a truce for now? Until we take out these nuisances?"

 

"No. I need no one to take out fools like you. The world will be mine." Astaroth said. Raven charged into Astaroth. "Not if I have anything to do with it." Raven said.

 

"So be it," Lord Skorge muttered, fully shoulder charging Astaroth, "It's a shame that you didn't care about your Arthen servant since I killed him."

 

"He is merely a morph of who I have created from the shadows." He then cast a spell on the castle, and knocked Lord Skorge away.

 

"Don't you realise? You're too full of yourself, your having trouble defeating these mortals, take a chance and let me help you destroy them." Lord Skorge shrugged it off and walked over extending his hand.

 

"Lark! Snap out of it!" Raven said as he cast a spell on Lord Skorge to attempt to allow Lark to take over.

 

Lord Skorge took the blow fully, he yelled out in pain as migraines racked his head, then his mind just snapped. He bellowed, tackled Ella, grabbing her then teleporting away.

 

Ugos couldn't feel anything. He could barely move his head. By wiggling slightly, he saw the Giant Mother closing in, surrounded by it's babies. He sighed.
The MAW hovered over him, preparing for the final strike, the strike that would end Ugos' life.

Now Ugos was not without his tricks. Or secrets.
Ugos was not a full Orc.
He was half Archon, the race of monstrous, ancient creatures constructed by eldritch magic.
Ugos had been an Orc all his life. Everyone wants change. So he did.
With an unearthly scream, the Maw drew back. It's former food was glowing piercingly bright.
Opening an eye, it glared at the new Ugos. Except it had to look up.

Ugos gazed at the huge wyvern. Only, to him, it was no longer huge. Goh shivered slightly in his pocket as Ugos grew bigger.
Ugos grazed his head slightly and looked up to see the cave's roof scraping his skin. He knelt down and drew back a mighty fist.
The Maw looked at him, in primal fear, as the canyon-sized fist came plummeting into it. The babies all died immediately, but the Mother was not to be defeated so easily. It wobbled slightly and belched a giant fireball at Ugos, who ducked. It singed his back as his stature prevented extreme mobility. He then lifted his giant foot and planted it square in the creatures jaw. It rebounded slightly off the flab, but the power carried through, knocking the monstrosity over. Summoning a huge stalactite, he impaled the bloated beast, destroying it's brain. How was it still standing...?
"NNNNRRRRRROOOOAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!" Ugos leapt upon the dying dragon and punched it repeatedly in the face (yeahbboi), and finally the wyvern mother was dead. Or half-dead.
Suddenly Ugos hit the floor hard. His strength was drained, and he was back to normal. It seemed it was spontaneous, his transition into Archon-mode. Glancing at the huge corpse, he continued to his brethren.

 

"NOT AGAIN!" Ella yelled. She looked around, finding them in some sort of grassland. It seemed there were no settlements nearby. "Ugh, let me go! Snap out of it Lark!"

 

Lord Skorge returned back to Lark, but his mind had snapped, he was now insane. He threw Ella in a cell, which was in a basement leading from a trapdoor in the inn.

 

After long rest Light looks at Grenth "My friends need me..Grab my satchel there's a full arm length gauntlet inside and a purple metal skeleton arm" Light says while slowly getting up. -What kind of ore is this.....- Grenth says while picking it up.. its light as a feather but harder then diamond. "Its special.." Light directs Grenth to put the skeleton arm into the socket on his shoulder. -...Your kidding me....this is insane??!?- Grenth puts the arm in and backs away.
"Ha..I'm going to save my friends i'm going to help them ..Grenth slit my throat" Light yells Grenth is full of tears but he trusts Light so much he grabs a knife and slices his throat... After a few seconds all of the blood in Lights body was gone...He collapsed to the ground but suddenly the cut on the neck burned like it was being lit by flames to clear the wound.. (now there is a scar across his neck) Light stands up... -It worked...- Grenth looks at Light in surprise. "Now my veins carry pure fire... i'm using magic to keep myself alive now.." Light begins to move the skeleton arm. "Hand me by gauntlet" He says to Grenth he puts the gauntlet on and now Light has one arm. "Grenth is Prospers mage still around?" -I believe so.. he lives on the outskirts of Prosper why?- "I need one more arm." He walks out of the shack and runs out of Prosper.

 

"Lark!" Ella yelled, banging on the cell door. "Little help anyone?" She shouted.
No response.
She sighed, taking a seat on the dusty ground. It was a strong lock on the door, could she blow it off with her magic? Well might as well try. She sent an orb towards the rusty barred door.

 

Light arrives at an out skirted small dead forest area. "This is it..." Light says while walking and walks through the small forest -Ah...ah...ah...what is this.. a young one...- a strange man appears. "Your the Blood Mage Decord right?" Light says -Ha... thats one of my many names..- he says -What are you offering and what do you want....- He rubs his hands together happily "..I need my arm back.. my left arm..." Light says -Oh oh..a body part.... you do know that brings back traces of evil... you know.. whats dead should stay dead..- "Do it" Light yells -Oh oh oh- He giggles -Alright...- He walks up to Light and cuts blood out from his shoulder oozing down to the ground and performs an contracting spell. After a few minutes the small puddle of blood on the ground erupts upward covering lights left shoulder and continuing into the sky. The blood falls back down like rain over Light and... there is a arm there now.. it has devil markings. Light sighs .. "Goodbye Mage.." Light turns around and he sees a floating castle in the sky in the direction where the situation with his nakama must be at. [Nakama - Japanese word for comrades or family/friends]

"Here we are, the final rush. I am sorry, boy. But I cannot play with you. Another day, oh, and I will blow this place up, goodbye." Astaroth said. He then just teleported away. "Huh, rails?" Raven said as he transformed back into his normal self. He could see rails leading down...? The castle was still ascending and he had no choice, so he decided to slide down he rails. Unknown to him however, is that Arthen is following him, still half alive.

 

Aspathe blinked and the scenery changed. Neon trees replaced buildings. In front of her stood Death.
"You summoned me?" spoke Aspathe.
"There is an object.." Death paused, gathered his thoughts and continued,"no, objects that I need you to retrieve. It is a great importance to me that they are in my possession."
"What are they?"
"7 powers that take the form of badges. I repeat, it is important that I have them."
"Why do you require them?"
"They.." Death hesitated for a moment, then continued, "no, you don't need to know why. A person who has named himself Astaroth has them. The blue portals will lead you back here. Do not let anyone know of your task. Use your Allumi skythe. You may leave."
She walked through an open portal, the same one she took before. By then, Lark, Raven and Light had gone. Confused to where they might be, she looked around, spotting a floating castle and began to walk towards it. No need to advertise what she actually is.

 

Ella's light orb bounced off the lock, it wouldn't budge. She sighed, it must be made of some strange material...
Guess she was stuck here until Lark came to his senses then. She rolled her eyes at the thought of the insane skeleton. He better be back soon. She curled up in the corner to wait.

 

Lark cried out in pain, horrible memories flashing out to him. He saw the rangers being slaughtered and being kidnapped as a young human child, he saw people dying on the streets, he saw his parents being murdered. He fell to the floor and saw Ella, "Mother? Is that you?" He questioned.
