RP- The Shroud descends

"Oh Lark..." Ella said, looking up from her spot on the floor, "It.. It's Ella.. I'm sorry..." She bit her lip, unsure of how he would react. She couldn't pretend to be he's mother, in the end it would only hurt him more.

 

"Come on mother, lets get you out of that cell," he said lovingly, opening the cell door.

After 15 minutes of walking, Aspathe arrived at the levitating castle. There she saw a figure sliding down. At he came closer, she realized it was Raven. Preoccupied with watching his approach, Aspathe didn't notice his follower.

 

"Ah... Right, yes lets do that!" She could always explain it to him once she got out of this place...

 

"Ugh, that castle could blow up any time now..." Raven said. He was suddenly pushed. He land on another rail and continued sliding down. "Hey, you're still alive?" Raven asked. "Of course I am." Arthen said. "You may have caught me off-guard last time, but this time will be different." Raven said. "Haha, let us see. This is the final rush." Arthen said. They both fought while sliding down.

 

Lark opened the trapdoor, which lead outside. Lark stepped outside and turned around to Ella, "wait, you're not my mother!" He yelled, pulling out his dagger, "your bones will be a trophy!" He snarled, running into battle.

 

Light griped his fist, he had no idea what to do or whats going on. Light looks around the scenery and finds a dead persons skeleton lying against a dead tree. Hes wearing a tattered robe with a hood and a knight helm that covers the whole head. "Humph... " Light makes a noise "That looks like it would totally suit me." Light says while picking up the helm and robe while putting them on. Light isn't sure as to what to do but all he knows is last seen was his nakama going into that castle. Light charges a flaming ball in his gauntlet hand and fires it off at the castle.

 

Ugos grunted as all his aches made multiple cameo appearances during his trek up the Three Thousand Stairs. The sign claimed it was three thousand, but Ugos guessed it was three thousand to the power of three thousand at this rate. During the night/day he was on the staircase, multiple shadows seemed to move of their own free will, making the hike not as peaceful as a wandering Orc may have liked.

After an age, he reached the top.
He wished he never had.

Sprawled before him, in the canyon of Gu'Thr, lay his home. Only... there was no-one left. The huts and tents of his brethren lay in tatters, smoke emerging from the stone mead halls. Ugos stared in disbelief.
"How... why..."
He was lost for words, when a more frightening thought occurred to him.
"Who?"

 

Raven and Arthen both jumped from rail to rail. Still fighting. Arthen continued to fire chaos magic at Raven, but instead destroyed some of the rails as Raven swiftly dodged it. All the energy of the storm clouds gathered to the castle. The castle then glowed bright red.

 

Well she should of known this would happen... How do you even begin to explain to someone that they're... crazy?!
She charged an orb of light and sent it at Lark. "Well... Running sounds good, catch you later!" She sprinted off. She didn't want to anger him further and have him transform into his other self again...

 

"Get back here!" He yelled, chasing her, he saw her start to slow down as she thought he was gone. Lark stalked her through the forest, making an eerie sound just to scare her, "there's no escapeeeee," he whispered creepily.

 

Aspathe saw the sudden change of colour in the castle as she watched Raven battle. It was glowing red?!? Startled, she began to yell at Raven.
"Hurry"she screamed, as loud as she could.
When things start glowing, it's usually not a good sign, unless you love running or getting blown up.

 

Ella shook her head, what was this deranged skeleton up to now?! "Lark snap out of it!"

 

Lark was still hiding, waiting to strike, he threw a pebble just to scare her again, "I'm coming for youuuu," he whispered.

 

"It's turned red? I gotta speed up now!" Raven said he started to boost. With Arthen on his tail, Raven executed an arcane flying fist attack. It sent him back to the castle. "That oughtta do it." Raven said. He then jumped off and transformed into his super self, flying down at incredible speed. As he flew, the castle was just about to explode.

 

Ella raised an eyebrow. "Lark snap out of it you crazy skeleton."
