RP- The Shroud descends

Lord Skorge just drained the pool of blood and walked away, he would have to head back.

 

Aspathe just stood there as the message sunk in. Lark.. dead? It couldn't be. But from the manner Ella delivered the bad news, it was. And she was the only one around when it happened.
"Why didn't you save him!? WHY!?" she roared at Ella, suddenly angry. She shoved her against a building.

 

Ella squeezed her eyes shut, her front breaking as a sob escaped her mouth. "I... I just turned around and.. he was... his skull... it was shattered." She sobbed, slumping agaisnt the wall. "It was that sea creature, he sm.. smashed it." She looked at Aspathe, "Lark, he teleported me to some place. He put me in a cell, then for some reason... He thought I was his mother, so I..." Ella looked down, ashamed. "I tricked him into thinking I was, so he would let me out. Then he realised and chased me through the woods, he kept whispering these things... Then I turned around and he was... he was..."
She couldn't finish.

 

"Dead," an evil Lord Skorge said, bursting through the wall, "I don't need Lark anymore, but I could use that woman there. She's one of those dreaded angels." Lord Skorge beckoned towards Aspathe and a gravitational force shot out.

 

"Lark?" Ella's eyes bulged, but this wasn't Lark... "Aspathe, an Angel?" Ella said, confused. She stood up. With one hand she clutched a nearby door handle, and used the other to grab Aspathe's arm, rooting them to the ground. Or wall, either works.

//Well I'm off for today :P

 

Light spotted Ella and a few others of the group he slowly approaches them.

 

Lord Skorge trapped Aspathe in a circle, and zoomed up to Light. "Who are you?" He demanded.
//This should give her time to escape :P

 

Light lifts his head up slowly and looks at Lord through the knight helm. Light doesnt like the vibe he gives off so he clunches his left arm making the demonic tattoo's glow furiously "None of your buisness" Light answers. Light hasnt been around the action with the gang in a long time so he has no idea that this is larks "Darker" side.

 

"You're that boy aren't you? Lark is dead, I don't need him anymore."

//I'm not actually dead! :P

 

// I know but Light doesnt know anything. :p
Light looks at him and grasps his left hand once more cracking his hole fist all his knuckles everything. "What are you doing here?" Light asks.

 

"I've come to get that angel, I would let you live if you don't cause any trouble, if you wish to see Lark's remains, just head to the lake." Lord Skorge walked back towards Aspathe.

 

Inside the circle, Aspathe looked around for something she could work with. Her eyes rested on a barrel used for collecting rainwater. Next thing Skorge knew, he was getting a thorough cleaning.

 

Lord Skorge roared in anger, being washed away by the water, but it would not hold him for long.

//Getaway time? :D

 

//Or you can kidnap me. Your move. I don't mind.

Aspathe watched in glee as the water literally swept Skorge of his feet. Knowing it was just a temporary delay, she started on attempting to get out.

 

Light holds up his metal arm in the direction Lord was washing off in. "Dont touch... my friends..." Light says in a scary tone while firing off this pure red flaming ball at Lord.

//Well i hit him with an magical ball :p So if the fact hes slowly being taken away and then he gets hit by a decent sized flaming ball that should knock him off his feet and get him back a distance. so i dont think kidnaping you would be possible at this moment.

 

"Light?! Is that you?" Ella raised her eyebrows, he was almost unrecognisable.

Light turns his head to Ella..He can't let her know who he is... he just doesnt think right now is the best time. He suddenly flashes into thin air and appear behind Ella grabbing her by the waist. He whispers into her ear "...I dont know whats going to happen..but your not safe here" Light grasps her waist and prepares to run.
