Lark appeared to a traveler, "tell me if you've seen a hooded figure or I'll rip your throat out." "Ok! I saw one like that heading towards Derius! Please don't kill me!" Lark disappeared and started to float towards Derius in a menacing fashion.

Ugos had been flying for hours, at great speed, but his wings were not slowing at all. This type of power, Ugos thought, was the kind he could get used to.
He shook the thoughts clear, but the clouds of corruption lay dormant in his head all the while.

Lark finally reached Derius but saw a hooded figure leaving, he followed her, an inconspicuous cloud of fog drifting behind her.

"Aspathe? It's me Lark, I need a new body, and I need your help, so you'll be coming with me thank you very much..." The armour of Lord Skorge began to shape out of midair, "before Lord Skorge here makes you," Lark said in an evil, threatening and tormented voice.

Light wakes up and screams he then punches the ground with all his might. During this time he cant hear anything around him. All he hears is the voice in his head. *I'm better, let me control...* "No!!!!!!" Light screams while holding his head

"Sorry, but I make my own decisions," Aspathe replied, materializing her scythe. It hissed and crackled as it was brought out. It whispered of an unknown magic.

"Well, I know you, I don't have long to live if I'm away from my body. I have until midday to find a new body or I'll disappear into nothing." Lark started to float away, "goodbye, Aspathe." Lark didn't want to hurt Aspathe though, because he needed her alive. He would need to find another person, someone like an angel. Lark started to trek along the road.

Light slammed his head on the ground and ran away from Ella into the forest screaming. He ended up running in the direction Aspathe was going in.

"Wait!" Ella yelled, running after him. "What's wrong?! I'm sure the Elven healers can help you!" Unless this was some strange side-affect of his new body... Or worse.

Lark finally found the person he wanted, a blessed priest of the Pantheon, called Jorge Lakeman. He would only help him if he found the reason for the mysterious death of his brother. His brother's name was Houston, they did quite a bit of searching around the small town of Katrid, when they eventually came upon his body.

Lark entered the woods, he knew something was off, he could see Jorge's face wrinkle up in utter disgust, a look which was soon to make an abrupt change to an expression of horror and surprise. Lark looked around, he could see what looked like to be a liquefied eyeball and part of a brain strung onto a tree branch. He looked around a rock to see a dismembered arm and liver, as if mixed together. the heart, lungs, chest and one leg lay in the centre of the clearing, Lark wasn't too disturbed he had seen worse, Jorge on the other hand, sat awed in a repulsive and apprehension.

Lark walked over to the main mess, and hovered down, he really didn't feel sorry for the man though. He swished around the insides with a gust of air, "still recent," he muttered, "no signs of a struggle, must have been over quickly." It was as if the body had just... forgotten how to hold itself together and just exploded spontaneously, he deducted that it was the work of supernatural forces, probably a vengeful spirit. "I'm sorry for your loss," Lark lied, "thank you for help, cloud of fog, I can know help you with your quest to find a body." Lark began the journey to the place, now with the help of Jorge Lakeman.

Light suddenly ended up at his shack in the forest. He's wasnt sure how he got here but he was at his home.. Scorn was waiting outside his shack waving his flaming tail. Light walks up slowly and pets his head, he leans against his shack and sits on the ground holding his head. The voice had stopped but Light is exhausted hes just going to rest and think about this all later.

The road lead to a small Orc village located near a river. When Aspathe walked in, she was greeted by the sight of the many residents running around hastily, preparing for something big. The shouts of many filled the air.
"What's going on?" asked Aspathe to a passing Orc. He was cladded in armor.
"You couldn't have had worse timing for visiting! We're going to war. Look over there," he said, pointing towards the horizon.
The glint of bronze could just be seen along the red banners that were clearly visible against the blue sky.

Lark floated into the temple of Baal, he turned to Jorge, who muttered an incantation and the door slowly opened. Lark looked around and found a symbol that looked like a star inside a trapezoid with crude carving. Jorge also found a pea-sized, cube shaped crystal which was translucent dark pink in colour, Jorge placed the crystal into the middle of the symbol and a blinding light flashed around them. When it cleared, there was a stone guardian. Buried deep within the rocky and enigmatic shell of the guardian lay one of Loth's greatest heroes, an ancient of the land returned to life in a striding hulk bedecked with a fearsome array of weaponry.

"The prophecy foretells of the one called Lark, who has lost everything he cared about, a troubled being, stuck between life and death. You have come to reawaken the Guardians, we strive against Chaos, to end its evil ways, I, am The Ancient One. You will be granted a new body, a new chance in this world." Lark turned away to see in a capsule, his new body, it was exactly like his old one. Lark absorbed himself into the body and stepped out, the skeleton was charred black with the power and responsibility, his eyes piercing red with the passion in his soul. He wasn't evil, he hadn't changed his personality a tiny bit, he was still Lark. "Yes, Ancient One." He turned to Jorge and knocked him over and stepped on his face, squishing it, he walked out of the temple of Baal, followed by a group of Guardians. He managed to pick up a book.

This book was eleven inches long, eleven and a half inches wide, and an inch and a half thick. It was bound in sea green leather and was in good shape. The cover had a small illustration. It contained a few color illustrations and was named, “The guide to stealth, cooking and hunting: A basic survival guide."

Light stood up slowly leaning against his shack. He could barely move, barley feel his legs. He has no idea whats going on with his body, he gets upset... frusterated.. he stabs his leg with a knife. He comes to his senses and jolts up, walks into the shack bandages himself up and watches the sky through a window in his shack. "i wonder how everyone is.... all this crazy stuff going on..." Light says softly speaking to scorn.

Lark and his troops arrived at a valley, looking down to see forces of chaos and destruction taking over the small city of Oran. He slid down the edge, followed by the Guardians, they landed, the Guardians whipping their swords out, licking like fire at the enemies heels. Lark and a large number descended into the heart of the battle, however, no sooner had they made impact than the skies grew as dark as midnight.

The sky was rent with flashes of green lightning, striking Guardians down as they came shooting from hell. A bolt badly damaged Lark, nearly killing him, he knocked his bow and fired it towards the incoming hordes, but to no avail. But then all eyes were drawn to Oran's sky scraping main tower, which stood wreathed in bale-fire on the horizon. As the Warpblaze subsided all could see that the tower had changed into a Hellspire; where stone and iron once stood, now there were walls of fused bone and flesh.

Lark blinked once, hardly being able to believe his eyes, at the horrid sight which befell his nonexistent eyes. He turned to his Guardians, they were going to win this. Horrific as this transformation was, the greater threat lay in the hordes of Daemons pouring out of the Hellspire. Plague-ridden Daemons with rusty blades advanced to reinforce the Chaos Warrior battle lines, followed closely by gibbering creatures whose fingers flickered with azure flames.

In their wake came countless other hell-spawned monsters and with every passing second the horde grew in size. Powerful magic fire tore great gobbets of meat out of the hive, but the surrounding walls flowed like molten wax to heal the wounds. During the seconds when the hive's skin was rent, a pulse of psychic energy flooded the battlefield. To the mind of the Psyker Guardians, it was a wave of madness and death.

The Death Company, the craziest and most daring Guardians, wishing only a glorious death in battle, was the first into the fray. They charged unhindered through sorcerous flames, and soon the battle field resounded to the sound of ancient stone against hell forged iron. Lark was fighting with the Death Company, but escaped the madness of the battle as the Death Company died daring deaths, gored on spikes, decapitated, mauled and other ways.

Through lightning wracked skies, a trio of sky chariots, one of which Lark had managed to board, rocketed towards the Hellspire. The other two crashed into it, creating a hole to enter with the other chariot, just making it in before it closed. Lark and the Guardians fought their way up, and in that instant, Sanguinary Guard descended on the top of the Hellspire, slaying beast after beast, golden-armoured warriors laying the enemy low with ther blades. however it appeared they were too late, for a holy ritual was almost complete and A Daemon Lord was even now pulling itself outwards through a warp portal.

Lark fired an arrow, piercing its chest and destroying its black heart. Howling in agony, the abomination was cast back into the Warp, and with its death the Chaos hordes exploded into mists of blood. But all was not to be celebrated, even though they had saved Oran, the Guardians forces had been damaged heavily, the Death Company had been wiped out, the Guardian troops had been halved, and two of the sacred Sanguinary Guard had fallen in battle.

"We must rebuild our forces, this battle has weakened us," the Ancient One spoke, Lark nodded, not a word was spoken, not a thought of the previous hour. Lark wondered what had happened to Ugos, but he realised that, he was probably dead, after a while of travelling, he could see a horde of battle-ready orcs.

//Wow... That was a long post, and Aspathe, with the orcs going to war, I can only hope it's not with the Saurians :P

//Why would they be going to war with DINOSAURS!?!
For a while, Aspathe had noticed that the jangle of her coins seemed to have ceased. So she came up with a idea to correct this.
"I'm a healer," she said, "In times of war my services are quite popular."
    The Orc grumbled.
"Guess you ain't doing charity work." he replied.
    Aspathe grinned.
"You hit the nail on the head." she said.
    The Orc grumbled again.
"Uro, get Orus here!," he called to a passing Orc.
" 'Kay," was all Uro said before running off.
A few minutes later, Uro came back with the Orus. Orus wore decorative plate armor made from a silvery blue metal. It was obvious he had authority.
Orus grumbled. Orcs tend to do that a lot, Aspathe thought.
"What is it Ogu?" he said.
"This human is a healer. She has a price though."
    "How much?" Orus huffed.
Aspathe stood for a while thinking.
"5 gold crowns per person." she announced.
"That's a rip off!" Orus howled.
"From what I heard, you don't have anyone else." Aspathe had heard snatches of conversations. Many were about the lack of help if they took an arrow to the knee.
Orus grumbled (again, Aspathe thought) before finally deciding.
"Fine! Uro, keep an eye on our visitor and make sure she doesn't overcharge us. Ogu, come with me. We've got a battle to win, son!"
"This way," said Uro, leading Aspathe to the infirmity.

//Man, that portrayal of Orcishness was perfect. And arrow to the knee? First class stuff
Wings of heaving miasmic matter outspread, Ugos continued on his way to his first victim; Lord Skorge. Little did he know that Lark was not on the bad side any longer.
Oblivious to the fact he was about to obliterate a hero, he touched down at a site about 5 miles from where he suspected he could find some clues to his whereabouts; a large, bloodied, inferno of a war ground.
"He was always a skeleton of action," Ugos sighed.
