RP- The Shroud descends

Ella blinked to stop any tears escaping her eyes as she placed down Goh. "I'm sorry, Ug..." But the rest couldn't be heard for the thud of a dinosaur foot making contact with the ground. They were still in a battlefield...

 

Light just saw what happened, he fills up with anger and once again is going to punch Lark in the face when he sees him next. He runs over to Ella and Ugos "Hey, Guys!" While hes running over hes dodging what attacks come his way.

 

"Long time no see, lad. Whe-"
A huge crrracckkkk filled the air as a hungry Onysaur (A wild, savage dinosaur that has three legs and an onyx scaled body) crunched on a corpse. It's puny eyes swiveled around and it's head followed, like a turret.
"Ah, haha, erm. Well."
He looked around at the stunned faces.
"GET THE FREAKIN' HELL OUTA HERE!"

 

While everyone is for some reason running scared, Light thought.. hes spent all this time looking for a adventure in his life, gaining powers unearthly to protect his friends. Light stands while the Onysaur is running towards him, he plants his feet on the ground he gets his metal arm and holds it forward,opening his palm, in the center of his metal gauntlet there is a slit. Light bursts a giant circle wave of pure red flames out of his palm. Almost like it was blood,While he is letting this tremendous power out, his skin starts to turn pale slightly.

 

The Onysaur trembled, burnt and in a rage.
"GrouRRRGHH!"
Ugos feared for Light's life as the dinosaur bared it's teeth.
The dinosaur leapt, just as suddenly it started to disintegrate. It's body fell forward and crumbled into ash.
Ugos stared at Light's arm.
"That's...."
Light stared at Ugos, grinning, waiting for the compliment.
"...new."

 

Light collapses onto his knee's from the loss of magic. Since his body now flows with magic instead of blood he isnt used to such combat.
"Yup..." Light says while gripping his knee. "Help me out here.." Light chuckles with coughing

 

With a grunt, Ugos heaved Light onto his back.
He gestured to Ella.
"Let's get out of here, folks.
By the way, have you lost some weight, lad? I can hardly feel ye."

 

Ella followed Ugos and Light as they made their way through the battlefield. Eventually they reached some bushes, out of sight from the preying dinosaurs. "Well. I guess we should look for Raven and Aspathe. Then find The Shroud, who knows what it's even been up too..."

 

Light looks at Ella "Hey... I'm sorry about what happened before..there is something wrong as you can tell.." Light says while looking down while getting assisted to walk by Ugos.

 

"The accursed cloud, eh? I reckon it's back in business. Sounds like a plan to me, lass."

 

"Yeah..." She was silent for a moment. "What happened to you anyway?" She asked, gesturing to his mismatched limbs.

 

Light heaves a heavy sigh, "I'm better myself for all of you.. i will protect you all, so no one has to get hurt..what happened early..?" Light says while gripping his arm fist. "I'd rather not talk about that.." He says while looking at his left arm "Lets just say.. i'v done some things that have changed my body."

 

Ugos couldn't resist a snort as he kept back the words puberty from escaping.

 

Light hears Ugos short whisper and slaps him in the back of the head "I'M 19 YEARS OLD I THINK ITS ALITTLE TOO LATE FOR THAT" Light yells with a bright red face

 

Ugos sniggers and cranes his neck to show Light his thorough enjoyment of the situation.
"Ehehehehe.."

 

While everything was going on, Aspathe dragged the injured Orcs back to the infirmitory with the help of Uro. She examined them as she attempted to stem the flow of blood.
"This is bad," she said, "Will cost extra."
Uro nearly hit the roof.
"The chief didn't agree to that!" he exclaimed.
"Or I could just let them bleed," she continued.
Uro recognised the warriors and swore. His sister would have his head if it was his fault that her boyfriend died. Literally. He really didn't want another opportunity for her to show her superiority in basically everything Orcs valued. Uro grumbled as he made his desicion.
"Fine!" he spat out, writing on a sheet of paper.
Aspathe just smiled as she worked her magic.

 

Light wobbles a little from his physical state "Hey , hey! i dont like this! i'm a injured man i say INJURED" He yells while laughing slightly

 

"Hm, looks like I can't find them. I better go visit my uncle." Raven thought as he sprinted southwest to Bulb Village.

 

Lark woke up in a cave of some sort, he looked around the area, but it seemed desolate. He walked over to a suspiciously placed rock, "how inconspicuous," he mused sarcastically to himself, "..., talking to myself? That's the first sign of craziness." He tried to push the rock aside, but it was too heavy, he rammed his shoulder into it, but it didn't budge. He heard a sharp crack and looked down at his left shoulder, it was split in half, he started to panic, "ok, no big deal, you can still fight with one arm... I hope."

He found a plank of wood which he had not noticed, he wedged it under the rock, he then proceeded to knock a largish boulder off it's stone shelf. It wobbled precariously on the ledge before toppling onto the plank, it sent the other rock flying away, but trapped Lark's right foot under it.

He tried to dislodge it, but to no avail, he finally decided he had to do it. He brought out his hatchet, and slammed it down onto his foot, severing it with a sickening "shhiinnkk" he limped into the next room, but tripped. He looked up to see a pair of heavy boots...

 

The bodies of injured Orcs soon filled the room. Helpers ran to and fro, changing bloody bandages and bringing water. Aspathe crouched in a corner, surrounded with barrels filled to the brim with water. She willed some to leap out and fill the wound of the warrior in front of her. It was fairly deep and already the water turned into a pink in the short time it was in contact. Aspathe closed her eyes. The water gently glowed a very faint gold before getting consumed by the flesh knitting itself back togetter. A vivid scar remained. Despite having only used a small amount of water, buckets began filling the barrel up.
Aspathe stood up and looked around, taking a sip of water out of a Saurian leather canteen that now hung around her waist. It was a gift from a thankful child, glad his father was okay. Apparantly, the dinosaur attacks were becoming quite frequent recently and the Orcs decided to make the most out of it. Out through the window, shirtless fighters surrounded a Onysaur, it's black scales slicked with blood from the many cuts on it's body. It suddenly turned around, it's tail slamming an Orc into a tree with a crack. Taking advantage of its distraction, a warrior dealt a killing blow. The dinosaur fell with a thud. It's scales suddenly turned darker as a massive dinosaur blocked out the sun.
