RP- The Shroud descends

As the figure walked towards the battle a Saurian jumped out of a bush about to attack. He flicked his finger piercing the scales of it making it bleed. He stares in its direction and walks ever so slowly like hes about to go to a playground.

 

Ugos realised, (far too late, as it turned out), that Ella and Frost were in danger. One moment he was walking, the next he was walking without company.
"What the duck!?" He swung around as a shadow loomed over him to meet an Onysaur intent on devouring him. After the short-lived staring contest was out of the way, Ugos leapt to the side and withdrew his sword.
Not a moment too soon, either.
A second Onysaur, scarred and bloodthirsty, leapt into his past position with it's fangs glistening in the purple dusk light.
Realising he was heavily outmatched, Ugos raised an earthen wall and tripped the first Onysaur, and had a flash of inspiration.
His previous success with taming beasts had turned out fine, and the majority of these dinos were domesticated (perhaps too strong a word?) by the Saurians. Intent on this fetus of an idea working, he leaped onto the fallen Onysaur's head, just as it recovered and swung it's maw up to make a perfect 'leap of faith' situation for Ugos. However, Ugos's powerful legs managed to carry him over and onto (albeit backwards) the Onysaur's hard back. With a sickening crack and a feeling of utmost pain, Ugos landed in a wedgie position.
"NNrrrgghhhhhhhh, these blasted animals.."
Recovering, he noticed the beast straining to look at him. It started to heave in a futile attempt to shake it's new jockey off.
Ugos leaned down and whispered (and received a blood ear from a particularly violent buck) into the beast's barely recognisable ear, and in response, it calmed down. Satisfied, he turned to face the second Onysaur, which saw this new combo and turned tail. Literally.

With a fearsome warcry, Ugos set out to find his companions.

 

He was in the company of dwarves, and one man, yet Frost felt more at home than ever. He joined in, singing merry songs, and participating in events with them, he even fashioned himself a grip and some armour from Snax hide. Then, he adventured out with a party, and found a revelation... They came upon a supposed dead end, the cave was supposed to have no exit, but Frost, could feel high pressure on the ceiling above them, coming from water bearing down.

Frost amplified the pressure, causing the ceiling to break, sunlight shining inwards, seeing the Orcs being attacked by Saurians, they rejoiced. "We no longer have to live in fear of Orcs, come on! Fellow dwarves! Rebel against them! Fight with the Saurians!" The Dwarves charged forward, axes and hammers smashing into the buildings, cannons firing, and wreaking absolute chaos. Frost charged with them, but took a detour, to see Ugos mounted on an Onysaur.

"Ugos! That thing doesn't like you! It's been trained to eat Orcs!" The Onysaur started to tense, you could see its throat lock into position, preparing to strike. Frost ran up to it, stating in the reptile language, (named Scalothian) "This Orc's not like the others, please don't try to eat him..."

 

"Lad, this thing is fine. It's preparing-" The Onysaur leapt forward and caught a stray Dwarf in it's mouth, "For... yeah, you talk to it, animal whisperer boy..."

 

Noel the human ran up, "Frost!" The Onysaur instinctively launched forward. Frost stopped the beastat the last second, fiercely reprimanding it. A huge rumbling could be heard, the Saurians stopped fighting, and dropped their weapons. Beastmen sprung out of the forest, the Saurian's extended their hands in a truce, to fight the greater threat.

A Cygor, a creature that is all but blind to the physical world, but can see magic from miles away. It feeds on the souls of mages and the like, stopping at nothing to get to them. An Orc Shaman cast a spell towards it, the Cygor knocked over several Saurians and attacked it. The Saurian Chief unsheathed a sword, handing it to the Orc Commander, as a sign of peace.

When the fight had started Ella hadn't been quick enough to escape the battlefield. Instead she swung herself into a nearby tree, and had been watching the battle for some time, on the lookout for Ugos and Frost.
After a while the two sides had seemed to come to a truce. She realised why when a huge Cygor burst through the trees.

Ella leapt up to the top of the tree, spotting Ugos sitting atop a dinosuar and Frost nearby.
But to the side of the battlefield loomed a greater threat, one that had seemingly gone unnoticed.
A strange creature, almost resembling Light was slowly, yet calmly walking into the battle. Anything in it's path immediately found itself lying on the ground in pain.
She hopped down from the tree, running towards Ugos and Frost. "Look over there," She shouted, gesturing towards the strange creature, attempting to take their attention away from the Cygor.

 

Ugos couldn't hear anything over the din of the archers and mages firing upon the Cygor that had emerged from the treeline.
He turned briefly and saw-
What?
A strange, sasquatch-y clawed monster was slowly advancing towards the back line of Saurians/Orcs.
Ugos dismounted and patted the large beast, that had become slightly more docile. It shook his hand and gave him a big bruise, which just testified the fact dinosaurs shouldn't be kept as pets.
As he swung around to meet this newcomer, he noticed Ella running and screaming at him, pointing at the strange humanoid.
"WHO IS IT, ELLA?" He roared to be heard.

 

He slowly eats the Saurian as if it was his breakfast. He licks his claws and opens his eyes wide with a grin and vanishes then poofs himself infront of Ugos with a bigger grin. Swinging his claw backward like hes about to swipe

 

It takes a moment for him to realise there was a monster in front of him, but Ugos quickly jumps backwards to avoid the coming slash.

 

He stands up straight and turns his head like a psychopath. "Wuahfahahahahahaha ahahahah" He screams "Your quite the agile one!?!?!"

 

Ugos frowned. That voice sounded vaguely familiar, even in this state.

 

He licks his lips, then sticks out his tongue and goes for another lunge

 

With one swift, smooth action, Ugos pulled out his sword and pulled it up to deflect the attack just in time.

 

He breaths in heavily falling backward but keeping his feet on the ground. The air suddenly gets beyond hot..

 

Humid air clung to his skin as the sword comes down to meet the flesh of his opponent's neck...
Suddenly Ugos halts as he puts two and two together.
The voice, the strange arm, the human-like appearance...
"Light?"

 

He bursts upward blowing out black flames from his mouth covering over a foot in width and height.

As he took his sword back, jet black flames caught on to his blade. The ice runes glowed brightly as it fought the fire. With a burst of strength, Ugos willed the sword to fight back harder.
Both runes began to hum and his sword vibrated as the ancient magic within stirred to life.
If only he knew the true extent of it's power beforehand.
With a flare of blue fire, and a blinding flash afterwards, the sword exploded. Then the magic was released. The closest thing to it was Ugos, and tentacles of fire and ice pierced his skull, leaving a horn of red and a horn of blue on the sides of his head.
Ugos felt a power flow through him, and his arms became streaked with icy cyan and heated scarlet lines.
As he lifted his arm and went to punch the Light-thing, the lines glowed brightly. A ball of earth emerged from the ground, and both of his hands lit up. Fire streaked towards it and fused with it, making a ball of magma. Then the ice came, and froze a layer outside of it. When the punch swung around, it smacked the ball of energy into his enemy at a startling speed.
