RP- The Shroud descends

*coughs* "We've been walking for awhile now.. i'm not quite sure what to think of this situation..." Light says quietly.

 

Raven stops in an instant. "What's that? Agh, it's sure dark in here." Raven said. There were eyes. It was strangely staring at them. For some reason, they felt like it was getting closer and closer.

 

Light stops right when raven does and puts his hand on his sword hilt thats in the sheathe "Great.. right when i opened my mouth.." Light says sighing

 

The creature comes out of the shadows and reveals itself. "I am Lloyd Silverhound. Well gentlemen, die, and I mean now. My master will not allow you lesser beings to visit him." Lloyd said. It's not human. His body's very pale, and his face looks distorted. "I think not. We're going to pass." Raven said with courage. "Hah, do as you may, but I gurantee that you both will die by my blade." Lloyd said. He disappeared into thin air. Raven got out his sword and shield.

 

Light grits his teeth and closes his eyes while unsheathing his sword. Slowly listening to the surrounding to hear where this creature might come from. *puts both hands on sword and holds it infront of him and twists it vertically and blocks an attack out of thin air but gets cut in the suspense* "Dam!" Light screams "God dam creature its dark in here and its fast"

 

Raven was trying to block and at the same time, cut Lloyd, but it was far too dark, and Lloyd is too fast and sneaky. He was being slashed from every direction. "Instead of playing with you both, I'll simply just end it here and now!" Lloyd shouted.

 

Light dropped his sword"Dammit! I said we wouldnt die here!" He screams clunching his fists and fire erupts from them,surrounding both of his arms completely shining light into the dungeon and leaps at Lloyd and gives him a heavy right hook. While the fire is constantly erupting from Lights fist his skin is slowly being burned.

 

"Gah, little, little rat... You've burnt some of my skin. No matter." Lloyd said. I'll have to end you, permanently. He creates mirror images of himself and prepare to slash Light.

 

The pain was too great for Light too sustain his fire magic any longer. "Ahhh" Blood draining down his arms from the severe burns "Raven! You can do it!" he screams throwing his satchel at Raven as Light slowly passes out from blood lose and the cuts from Lloyd

"Hm, now I'm done with your friend, it's your turn." Lloyd says. Raven tries to attack, but keeps on missing. Soon enough, he was slashed several times and was wounded pretty bad. A very soft whisper echoed across the room. "The..Badge...Use...The...Badge...The Badge of Twilight..." Raven had no other choice so he used the Badge of Twilight. Lloyd was no longer able to go invisible and teleport, so Raven took the oppurtunity. "I need no skill to defeat you, vermin." Lloyd mocked.

Their swords clashed and clashed. It was almost a mirror match. Raven left himself open, and Lloyd plunged his sword into him. "Gah! I.. Will.. Not fall.." Raven said as he collapsed. "Hmph, I was expecting a more challenging match, now, prepare to be executed." Lloyd said. Just as Lloyd was about to deliever the killing blow, Raven recovered fast and cut off Lloyd's arm, and then plunged his sword into his chest. "Ah.. Is..This... What pain feels like...? Oh..I don't feel so well... Arven.. You mad curr.. You.. Tricked me..Ugh, you.. The victor, Arven's in the next room.. Along with..Other people..Ugh.." Lloyd gave his final breath.

Raven rushes back over to Light. "Hey! You all right? Oh dear, oh wait! The satchel." Raven said. He pulled out some bandages and a few potions. He drinks a few of the potions himself. He wraps the bandage around Light's wounds, and puts two potions in his pocket. "Right, Light, come on." Raven said. He dragged Light to the next room.

 

"Aspathe, a pleasure to meet ye, i'm sure. Me name's Ugos, as ye've likely heard. Now, i can see the dungen, i thinks, just this way!"
*after a few stumbles and bruises*
"Eheh, here we are, lass. It's mighty dark in there, eh? Ohh, bless 'im, i can 'ear his screams from 'ere."
"Let's go"

 

Lark looked up to see Ugos and the lady walking towards him, "Thank god you're here!" Once he was free of his restraints he picked up his bow, "oh Kovath!" "Yes?" "dodge this." Lark fired an arrow that was true of aim and pierced Kovath directly between his eyes. The great evil was finally dead, Lark's mission was complete, the dark energy drained into Lark.

He walked over to thank them, but all of a sudden his eyes changed from a bright yellow to a piercing red. He stabbed Ugos and snarled at him, then ran away.

EDIT: here is a bit like what Kovath would look like, yes I know it's Sauron :p

 

Reeling with shock, anger and pain, Ugos fell backwards.
"Ugh...you damned traitor! I knew you were evil...from that cursed moment i set eyes on you..."
Blood poured from his wound. However, the orc being a huge orc, and all, wasn't done. He scrambled up awkwardly, and his eyes blazed red. With a sudden flash of movement, his incendiary greatsword was clasped in his hands.
"You will pay for all that you have done, Lark."
With a heave, he pushed towards Lark, his sword leaving a trail of inferno.
Blocking the relentless dagger thrusts, he managed to get a huge blow to the small weapon, knocking it out of Lark's hands.
With a gigantic, hateful kick, he sent the skeleton sprawling with a clatter...
"What say you in yer defense, monster?"

 

Lark gibbered nonsense, he was possessed, he let out an unearthly scream which shocked anyone within the radius, he then continued to run away.

 

Staggering from the shriek, Ugos sneaked a glance at his former comapnion.
The coward was fleeing!
But why did he change his motives? He killed his enemy...
Unless.
That dark magic must've affected him! He ran towards the scrambling skeleton and shook by the head, then punched his skull a few times. The eyes seemed to clear a little, from the pain.

 

Lark's eyes cleared for a second, remembering who he was, but he shook it off. He then he waved his hands and the ground swallowed him up.

 

"I doubt he'll be bothering us for a while...Let's get out of here!"

 

Lark resurfaced in Retribution, the dark demon now inside him told him to get revenge on the orc. Lark walked into his brother's house, "Who the heck are you?" Asked Oru. Lark didn't reply and continued walking towards him, "You're not even meant to b-" Oru was cut short by a brutal dagger thrust to the stomach, a pool of blood gathered on the ground, Lark left the house...

 

Inexplicably, a sharp emptiness emerged in Ugos's belly.
"Ugghh!"
He fell to the bloodslicked ground, gasping...
