    I'm not against the idea, it'd be great for aethetics and RDM maps :)

    It would work similar to stone unless you are suggesting that it open for either door in which case it does have it's purpose as well, it's openable but also solid at times.

    You can stand on doors. So they would actually act sort of like bridges, but with more resistance and delay in closing.

    By this do you mean we can reinforce stone? Like, we can stack multiple stone into one tile? For example, I click one square with stone four times, it has 4X durability?

    No. Blocks will still have a FG/BG layer and will be able to block construction on each layer, but a bridge block will actually be layered in front of a backwall block, for example.

    We're not sure if this will extend into the implementation of classic or not, more info when we know.

    I know what you mean, but stacking is generally used for piling up xD
