*makes new clan called gray (or grey?)* someone makes a server where is black vrs white racist comments ensue D: the idea is or was since the devs made sprites that are gray in color allowing for easier modding of sprites. so random idea someone will make a server where people are either black or white replacing the traditional red or blue. When people fight they use taunts often deriving from their team color.
From my understanding there will be: Catapults- Ground level troop killing siege weapon Ballista- Anti-Archer/unit killer vs fortresses siege weapon Rams- Extream Anti-fortress siege weapon more? Also, from the picture on the main page: Carriable shield to protect from archer fire more? These are pretty much guarunteed, as they haven't ever been removed from the "Full Version" page. This was just to compile a generic idea of what they have for "siege" weapons, from my point of view.
Here's an idea, just include a server option for the old style collapses if possible, where they only collapsed downward and didn't spread. It doesn't look as cool, but it's much more reliable in knowing whether you'll be killed or not. Which is more important imo.
I like the Collapses. I was thinking about a function, that can be based on each server as changeable options. The weight/defense and so on of each material can be changed so that each server can choose how tough their materials are. How's something like that sound?

The spread of collapses makes thing alot better if you ask me, simple collapse traps are more effective, teams get punished for mindlessly taking down towers, you have to be much more careful when legitimately collapsing things that need to be. It can be a bit more random then it should be, but couldn't the collapse script be modified with all the modification to script that's gonna be possible? Things falling in a predictable downward fashion cuts off alot of fun gameplay mechanics if you ask me, it might favour defence more then attack but hopefully with more mechanics in place for sieging towers then that shouldn't be so much of an issue.
This is why I suggested a server option, because some people like it. Me personally, I fucking hate it so much when i get killed by a collapse that's already finished, that didn't happen with the old style collapses.
Oh yeah I agree it's glitchy, just in principle it seems much better for gameplay in an ideal world for it to work as it is now but without all the random shit happening now, got killed earlier from a tower collapsing about 10 tiles away from me... while I was in a 12+tile high tower...
right now right side has more advantage as in collapses as when blocks fall usually leer to the right ie break the ladder the stone falls leaving knight mostly unharmed. On the other side the knight would be dead if a similar situation occurs.
Also, one more thing, will free players be able to play in servers that were scripted but playable for free version of KAG?? If so, i see a survival game coming soon :D Not by me e.e
scripting is premium only, you cannot play on the scripted servers as a free player because they'll be on a new client, a premium only client.
;) - This will be better because now i can see if a knight is actually aiming at me instead of left or right.
