Bug fixes are for everyone, as long as the bug pertains to a non-premium content, such as ladder on stone backwall taking 2 stone instead of wood. Edit: Damn you Glorious Toast
Okay So its going to be like this?? ............Bug Fixes..........Direct Aiming thing===New Workshops etc===Those New textures up above Premium: Yes=========Yes============Yes===============Yes Free type:Yes=========Yes============Nope==============Yes Will it be like that?
More like: Premium all yes Free yes no no no Somone more qualified is welcome to correct me if im wrong. As im getting "everything free right now is what they have, anything more than that in any way is premium".
Direct aiming is new engine exclusive. Classic (non-premium) is staying at old engine. It doesn't mean it will not be supported. AFAIK the devs will try to fix some nasty bugs before moving on.
The free version will not be getting the new textures (they're not set out the same way and its a waste of time porting them), direct aiming or any new content other than likely a few usability things (like lanterns). It will likely get bugfixes to glaring issues. We'll consider releasing a free demo of actual KAG later on.
Just a question concerning the Directional Attacks, Will the Arms just swivel around, or will people who make texturepacks gonna have to sprite each frame?
Don't take my word for it, but I seem to remember hearing summet about them having some way of managing animations to make new classes/texture packs easier to make. #edit# or what lostpix said...
what? No! What do you think this is, Terraria? Geti is an actual self-respecting artist, so he will make it look good.
There's nothing wrong with Terraria. But saying that it is anything related to KAG, other than it's 2D aspect, is just silly. Chill your tits, people.
Well and the fact you can build stuff. You can't just leave that out like KAG is the only thing to ever implement digging, building, and breaking things.
I was just joining the lynch mob for the fun of it, I assume what you mean is either the more free flowing movement of characters for stuff like archer aim or having to make shitloads of frames to animate things. Like I said before I'm pretty sure I heard something regarding making animating easier, but you'd have to hear from geti/MM/search the announcements to see whether I'm just making that up.
So basically what we are looking at is the final production crunchtime, and so this next version is "IT" basically, just about everything will be open for modification, and any main features that didnt make it in this time will be in the sequel? I can live with that.
