This is awesome. being a redstonehead... i have a few ideas to add.

I think that the input devices should match that of minecrafts...
Lever = constant signal
Pressure plate = constant while stepped on (triggerable by items)
Button = 1 tick pulse(on for a 1/10 a second, then off)
Tripwire = same as preasure plate (but expandable over a distance)

Torch = powers the block above, wire below, or blocks ajacent. These are important for inverting the signal, using as power sources.
Repeaters= Delay the signal by 1 tick, sends power through a block, can pickup power through a block, extends the length of the signal.

 

you see that the KAG developers ( and me ) doesn't really want to make KAG into a PvP Minecraft

 

Kag has been described as pvp minecraft for a long time. So were past that.
2d binary coding within a game doesnt have to be minecraft... it simply needs proper ways of handling input and output.
Just because minecraft had these devices first in a game doesnt coin them as minecrafts, theyre simply ways of handling signals for binary, based off logic..
logic/logic gates are not minecraft exclusive...
Anyone who uses minecraft as a derogatory term is idiotic as well.
also, stop speaking for a large mass of people when you are only one person with a very small mind.
Unless you have something to actually add, dont chime in with your useless empty sheeps opinion.
Or try to deconstruct my idea, point whats bad about.. instead of running with what others say.

I, knowing a fair deal of vertical redstone logic, know that this could work, quite well. (vertical logic fits on a 2d plane.)
On a site note, This would attract a large number of people would take interest in kag, making the game grow.
That being said, who disagrees?

Well id like to start by saying I'm sorry for this LATE post but seeing as i wasn't here when this was posted ill go ahead. The new mechanics look ALOT like things already in terraria(of course they don't own ideas{like the already added grappling hook...})anyway ctg in terraria never imho been used correctly by anyone ever so it'd be intresting to see how these mechanics would play out :)
