    I reckon every time a knight kills, say, 10 people during his life, he gets a heart back.

    OT:
    @Gofio, I think i know what principle it is...I may be compeltely off course here, but I have walked on nails and suffered little more than a cut, so i'm assuming that is what you're going off.

    hmm... this is already pretty old.
    I used to tempt them to get in, and use their heads to bounce out of the pit.

    Tempting a knight to jump on you while you're in a spike pit is stupid - it barely works. Most of the times, they land on you, get hurt 2-2.75 damage, then stab you. If you try shooting them when they have .5 health, you just get pushed into the spikes. I've tried it a lot, doesn't work at all really.

    thats why you should just bounce on their heads, out of the pit.
    then you wont die.

    Not if the pit is deep enough. If it's wide enough that can work, but you're probably already damaged from landing into the spikes and laying down, and jumping on the knight will most likely result in death if you miss and hit more spikes or if he stabs you.
