    Findude, based on what i've seen a lot of the time there are a core group of players that stay in the game to be on top, on both teams. The ones that leave are rarely these core and more often the ones at the bottom. Knowing that, I doubt there will ever be a really serious loser stack due to the autobalancer.

    Switching average people leads to complaints, as you've clearly seen. Having the team scrambler and switching people who've just got in the game still seems like the best solution with minimal complaints.
