Terraria

Playing with my friend once again, it's fairly good fun. I'm loving the winter biome's music. Living in an igloo village. I got the web thrower (grappling hook) fairly early, as well as a blizzard in a bottle, it made movement so much more fun again.

 

Reached hardmode with friend today. Those random boss spawns are pissing me off to be honest. We got the Destroyer 2-3 days after getting into hardmode. We just stood there and waited for the night to be over because a Sunfury and Phoenix Blaster can only do so much.

 

That sounds like fun....
I'll make sure to gear up and build ample arenas around my buildings before I head into hardmode with my hardcore character.

 

i got to hellmode a couple days ago. hellmode is annoying and i think i need some sort of friend to kill all the bosses and mini bosses.

 

Shame there still are no official servers, or server sharing system (like the way that servers are in kag and TF2)

 

Not really "designed". The bosses are just bullet-spongy and deal a lot of damage.

 

They do actually despawn. If everybody dies in a short timeframe from each other, then the boss despawns. Basically if everybody gets killed off at once. I guess it's some leftover code from singleplayer (if there is no player near the boss, it despawns) that works for multiplayer.
By endgame content do you mean things like Spectre gear and such?

Can I just say the vampire knives are super OP? XD

Once you get a lot of the endgame items, you start to feel a bit goddish. Flip the world at your whim, walk on and in lava without consequences, teleport from side to side and stand perfectly still as what you once called a 'boss' falls to a few seconds of you using your most powerful weapon.

It felt very good to kill The Destroyer, which gave me so much trouble in 1.1.2, with nothing more than like ten seconds of tossing the paladin's hammer. And I wasn't even using melee buffs.

 

Just recently got Terraria again because if the 1.2 update, I don't know much about it but is it any good? Also I would love to play with someone :3
