That. I think the terraria devs at some point mentioned Starbound. It looks quite promising.

Yes some of the same people from Terraria are working on Starbound. Think of it as super Terraria in space.

 

So I got bored and decided to download and try this game. And I don't know what the fuck I'm supposed to do... Any beginner's tips?

 

Talk to the guide, he can give tips on getting you started. But for starters, you'd need to chop wood to create a workbench, and then mine some stone to make the most basic stuff. (Furnace most importantly)

I am only just starting to play it and can't wait to go on a multiplayer server :D

 

You know what? Somewhere in August there will be a huge update, 1.2, with more than 1000 items Redigit said that he will realase it somehwere 29 july- 9 september meaning that it could even come ina week.:p

Just going to upload this and add more and more as I find this epic update I cannot wait for it to come out, enjoy watching/looking at the new images and will upade this frequnetly so keep checking ; ^ )

I think this might be enough , evidence: It's been confirmed Terraria 1.2 will come out before 1st of October.

 

Only one more month...
And then we'll probably bitch about bugs for thrice the time it took to make the update.

 

Kind of reminds me of KAG, every time we got a trailer or a new blog post everyone would be like "oooohhh shhhiiitt it's coming out this week I can feel it", and now most people are either new and bitching about bugs or something being OP or oldfags and whining that "KAB was made for a audience, old KAG is better #cultofoldkag

I KNEW IT! Redigit promised 1.2 first time it to be realesed in may, then he pushed it to juny, then july, then august then mid-september AND NOW ONTO OCTOBER. I swear that he wont realase it in 1st october he will push it farther.

 

Then again, he also keeps making the update bigger.
First he said it would contain several hundreds of items.
Later he said he'd already made a thousand of them,
and now, he mentioned that both are not even close to the real amount.
He's like most Terarians on their first mining trip; every time he should get back to the surface, he continues digging hoping for gold.
