The direction kag is going.

Oh rly? How is it that I bought one game, and just bought another, totaly different? Ha?

 

IMO KAG will become a lot like minecraft classic, after the game launches and steam and it (hopefully) gains popularity, KAG will become the old version that only 2 people play, old fags who can't live with the new stuff, and kids who really want the full game but their dad isn't home to buy it for him yet.

 

I always keep thinking KAB is somehow cabbage.

So you want to say that I bought a bugged game which is no longer supported by developers? Nice move.

 

If KAG Beta is a different game, not that i bought, i just want to get classic without that ugly bugs. I mean when most of old players buy KAG, everyone thought that buying a game that will get better and better, and access to the new features will get only premium players. Was said that the Classic would be just demo of full game, and nothing about different game.

 

I understend that. But for many of old players new game is not "perfectly fun!". :(

 

Before Kab there was not a single premium server with people on it. There were all playing the F2P classic.

 

Port classic into Beta as a mod. Problem solved.

 

Classic mechanics + new combat system and fire + little twicks and no bugs = Ideal KAG

 

There are a lot of bugs as they have reworked the engine and it is a development process that they have decided to welcome you in on rather than keeping it a closed beta to only testers as they continually fix bugs. You can start modding, assist with bugs and play the game in the form it is in or you can keep to classic, which is a stable game and doesn't need support for now, and then when beta is ready you play it.

Notching, team bridges, capture the flag, repairing, no double slash! :P

 

Thats what i do. Play classic. But its well known bugs and defects do not allow me to enjoy the game to the fullest. If I could mod, I would be engaged in the project "Good Old KAG", but i know nothing about scrypting, and havent time for learning it.

 

Take tome off playing and mod... your problem

i think classic really needs all major bugs fixed. after all classic is what most players play before they buy the game. therefore it should not have bugs like the scoreboard bug etc. if some one showed me classic and said "this is a final version, are you buying that or no?" i would say no.

but i agree classic should get no more content updates, maybe a few sprites from Beta for modders to play with.

edit: and i would fix classic after finishing KAB but BEFORE releasing KAB on steam
