The Great Gold Contest! Check the OP Frequently!

This is a really relaxed contest and at the end of the day I can't really tell what you used to build it. I can see how people with gold accounts have an advantage with the map editor but as long as its in KAG its fair game I suppose. The point is to see the communities work, the gold accounts are just a nice incentive, so use whatever tools you have at your disposal that are in kag (no other programs) and lets see what awesome stuff comes out of it.

I had to stop building my contest entry because the russian guy in the first screenshot started collapsing and griefing it.

 

Is this meant for me? I really did the running guy statue inside KAG :(

 

I was meant to no-one and all of us at the same time. He meant that we should not try win my making stuff in photoshop, not that anyone of us did. ;)

Hm...how about a bit of "community" beneath the "committee"? So that for example the community votes for the three best buildings/textures/whatever and the committee decides the winner? Or the other way around?
I know it's "your" contest and you can handle it like you want to but I just like polls too much to not suggest this. :)

 

That sounds too complicated for my liking, we run into problems with this maybe turning into a popularity contest, ect. The winners will be hand picked by each committee member. If you really like a submission then let your voice be heard and it might sway a judge.

 

I used to draw alot in college and wouldn't mind helping out as a judge. If of course, you want me :)
