It is a widely known fact that Jessetius, behind all his IRC zen, is the most hatredful and spicy member in the BoWs.
Imo the major fail here on BoW was that they were playing defensive. Without defenses.
You play defensive in a 15v15 public match where you can have a decent base set up, but not in a game where one builder is allowed per team and your base consists of 20 blocks.

Our knightplay wasn't terrifyingly good either. Sure lag is an understandable factor, but I saw many bombs completely failing, no bombjumps (forces the enemy to draw forces behind(and if I remember right, Fred denied this in IRC)), and no too much cooperation within ally knights.

Regardless, gg. Just tad bit short.

I think people who didn't play this underestimate the lag factor, most of the times, a bomb would mean our death, because you couldn't estimate when and where it would explode. But that was all acceptable and we from BoW in general don't want to be the sore losers and keep complaining about that. It was a fair match, and no one is to blame. We could've won but we didn't, because we made mistakes. You could see we were pretty lost in terms of tactics, a thing we'll work on.
Lets stay positive here, we congratulate Mole and won't downplay anything. You were better, guys!

Well, I don't want to push harder but 3/4 of posts you did there was to talk about the ping. For sure, your ping in the match didn't helped BoW but it wasn't why MOLE won.

That's what I said. And if you read closely, I don't deny that Mole was the better team that night. No hard feelings! But don't deny the lag either, especially if you didn't play yourself.

Alright everyone! A date and time has been set for the next game in this small tournament!
It will be held this Saturday, the 3rd of November, 00:00 GMT, between YB and POWER!
The winners will go on to meet Mole in the finals while the losing team will proceed to fight for an honourable third spot.
As with the last time, the whole thing will be streamed, hopefully everything will be even better than the last time. You can catch the stream here:
If you have any questions what so ever, feel free to ask.

Note: this is basically the same as Midnight GMT on Friday and will likely be Saturday afternoon for most of our western viewers.

It will be changed to a best of 5 to compensate for potentially short matches and the lineups for each team will be:

Young Blood: Kyzak, Kouji, and Rayne as knights with Carver on archer and FuzzyBlueBaron on builder.
POWER: BeasterDenBeast, Warrfork, and Brilly as knights with Verrazano on archer and Sigsson as builder.

My confusion is with Rayne, does YB not have enough players to field 3 knights. As far as I knew Rayne was a part of Action [!]. Like pretty much the leader?

Rayne is part of YB, I think BlueLuigi is top dog of Action at the moment.

Rayne is a member of both. Same for kouji I think? But then again, action is basically dead anyway.
