Internet cables don't really do much unless you get a really good one.

Actually they do, they make sure that you don't lose wireless connection because your "plugged in" It also allows you to download stuff easier

To go back on topic, so so far, all servers are crap unless you need to buy a costly internet cable and the majority of us think that there need to be more "good" servers.

I never knew you could get 'good' ethernet cables, don't majority of them work pretty evenly?
Also I might be able to get another Aus server running soon. (Maybe)
Also Lava is about to start running a second server.

Ontopic~ Anyway, you can never have to many servers!

Just saying to Creille, what would you say if you were not premium? (I.E. Put yourself in your old-self shoes (Before you got premium)). Remember when there was about 10-20 servers, at the most. Only one of them was Australian, everyone was going on it, wanting more servers. I think that servers run by home systems are a way of getting around this, at the small cost of scrolling through ten or so more servers in the list. Be glad that KAG is getting better; existing more. Maybe some people don't seem to see the bright side of this?
Anyway that is solely my opinion.

Also, if you want a decent server, Internet cables are nothing much, the important things are on your computer.
    -RAM
    -CPU
    -Operating system
Anyway just answering your thing that needs to be answered. And why would your computer suddenly lose wireless connection. Mine hasn't at all, and I have a fairly shit computer.

Or if you have >3 bars then I suggest moving your computer closer or plugging in (:

If you buy a server does it stay up or does the computer still need to be on to run it. Because I know from my friends server that it can only be run when his computer is on running the server. and he didn't buy it, he just port forwarded.

    Warrfork???

I don't like making threads because chances are someones already done it but I can't find it... cable/ports?

Make a thread for, you are all out of the subject with your cable/ports.

Man, I don't know how many cheap ethernet cables that have had the latch on one or both of the ends break off on me. I love having a wired connection, but hate having to either replace them every month or so, or do this thing where I put a small loop of scotch tape on the sides of the connector and wedge it into the port about every week. I am still seriously considering just buying up a bunch of connectors and a tool to get them onto the wires just so I could deal with it without using those alternate means.

But yes, there should be some limit on servers, but I would rather it be based on quality control standards rather than premium status. And, if it doesn't meet the standards, you can still host and others can connect to your IP, but you just wouldn't appear on the browser list. As for the standards, I believe that a consistent connection (no spikes, not prone to dropping players) and having a decently low ping for the area where the server is located would be a good place to start while not being overly intrusive. I would like to include something along the lines of map size and allowable player limits based off of CPU and RAM, but I don't have much of an idea of how those two affect system resources.

For example, at least one of the servers I have been in would have a small lag spike every few seconds. I like that it happened to be the only populated RTDM servers at that specific time, but the server really had no business being online in that state. As long as our standards aren't too stringent, we can remove worst offender cases like this and, due to the large number and diversity of the remaining servers, still have another server of the same type populated.
