Windows Unable to start KAG - ERR 5 - Error Downloading

    Trying to help a friend install KAG, and it's kind of failing. I'm trying to salvage as much information as I can, but KAG isn't telling as much as we'd like. There's no firewall blocking KAG, iirc, so I'm not sure what's wrong...

    Well I see it's installed in G:\.
    Some possible fixes:
    1. Uninstall kag and re-install in C:\
    2. Try running kag in administator

    1. He's running it as administrator.
    2. I'm pretty sure G:/ is his main drive, and I doubt that would mess anything up anyway. KAG manages everything in it's own folder, it doesn't really branch out much, for what I've seen. I haven't seen KAG sneakily placing config files in the C:/ drive, eh.

    "Failed to open my version file App/version.txt"
    Delete it, it's located in KAG\App
    then run kag.exe it might fix your problem.

    Ok have you tried uninstalling then deleting the kag folder that is left and then downloading kag again from http://kag2d.com/en/download and installing with the new downloaded installer?

    Yeah, he has. Multiple times. I have no idea why this isn't working...

    Glitch is still happening.. =/ He literally just remembered that the game wasn't working (we basically abandoned him playing KAG for like 3 months, haha)
    1. Just "http://update.kag2d.com/kag/"
    2. The game launches, but - and I quote - "it only starts if i use the nolauncher and i cant connect to the internet"
    3. Downloaded it, still does the same thing.

    Also tried seeing if it was a firewall blocking it or something, but no dice. :<
