Where is the Excalibuur server thread?

Someone was false votekicking a new player who decided to make a trap in the flag room on Excalibuur. I mean, fair enough, it's a dumb thing to do, but he was constantly votekicking him over and over for 20-30 minutes until he finally kicked the poor guy. He stopped after the first or second votekick as soon as he knew it wasn't good to do, but the guy just kept votekicking.

First off, it wouldn't really be false votekicking if he wasn't new, as greifing does include building things the same as destroying things. That doesn't excuse ziremonger's actions, but still.

Secondly, not exactly sure that you would like being told off by random people for kicking a nub that lost him games due to, technically speaking, greifing. So, don't be a jackass and add snide comments in like that.

Thirdly, check the server descrip and such, and ask an admin who the owner is.
Locate the owner on the forums (or any other platform) and give them the ban report.
Even if that means just sitting there in Spec for a while, waiting for someone.

 

to be fair this guy has had problems on countless servers with countless admins(i wont say anymore though because he is apparently in my clan)

 

First off, pretty sure this is not the case. I've torn down walls in replace for something I thought was better, generally experience helps when dealing with this though.

Secondly, it didn't cost them the game by any means. He stopped before I realised it wasn't a noob kicking another noob. Also, what snide comment ;).

First, that is the case, but you weren't greifing then. It's a very certain set of circumstances that it works (usually involving teamkilling or intentionally letting the enemies in), and it's hard to distinguish if you haven't seen it in-game

Secondly, I assumed that it lost you guys the game with the rage coming off of his skin like heat, in the logs.
And with that snide comment thing, its not fun to get your name squashed just because of one incident, and not nice to be the one that is doing that to someone.
