Lol I hold back my power level these days. Many times I'll bomb jump to the back of the enemy's base, chuck fish at the builders, then leave.

Haha, I'm still getting my head around bomb jumping in release KAG, but whenever I do manage to pull one off I inevitably wind up landing on the roof of some tower where I am taken by an overpowering urge to start dancing and spamming 2525 and the music emote.

In other news, I've developed a fixation with getting bomb ballistas asap and then raining hell (i.e. 50+ bolts) on enemy emplacements before capturing that point and rinse+repeat. Something Rocinante didn't mention about that hellva match with Verra, hierbo and myself was me running around pummeling towers & middle halls with explosive bolts, my finest moment being:

I'm getting better at jumping, but apparently comparatively worse at fighting...

I had <100ping in a few games, and I honestly can't play with that sort of ping.
I learned other people are getting very good at the Way of the Shield, which is both a proud, and frightening thing for me. [Considering I am the one that loves to do that sort of thing]

    Yeah, I'm finding I'm terrible at fighting with low ping these days. Get rekt far too easily. ;;

My problem nowadays is unstable ping, I can't play if my hits aren't consistent...

Anyways enough about that, I just played some of the most hilarious two rounds, and the reason why I have to thank for them are mines.

So, in Aphelion's, or some other's CTF Server--which ever has the High-Resource/Huge-Map Cycle --the red team is able to get dominion of the middle island on the truly massive map.
What remains are the Blues' massive front wall, which is eaten through slowly, and the foundations burned, then finally collapsed when I intervened, and cut the last support. At this time, the Reds were more than capable of chewing into the Blue Underground. Give or take about 5 deaths, the Reds are able to get behind the Flag Bunker, but no builder decides to take the long process of cracking a single layer of stone.
After what seems to be about 15 minutes, I find that the underground is pretty much devoid of lanterns and Blues, and find a Red Mine. With the combination of poor design decisions by the Blues, and the proximity of dead Blues, I simply crack the sucker.
Because I love to die, and to use my shield, I decide to take it upon myself to not go through the Blue Underground, and run along the top of the Flag Bunker populated with three Builders and a few Archers. Needless to say, I survive, and on the way back, about two Blue Knights don't notice that their Flag is directly behind them, being taken.

In the next game, I thank the Builder that provided me the mine, and pretty much waste the starting period chatting.
The same song and dance is made, the Reds get early access to the center, but this time, on the deep map with the Shark Pits between each team's Flag.
Stone Doors hold out the Blues, and Wood Doors keep them from having free reign if they manage to get in.
I find a mine out in the open, between this strange plateau, that has been dominated by sneaky Red Builders, and the Forward Red Flag, and toss it at the Blues' Front Flag Bunker. What usually happens is that someone breaks the mine, and no one really bats an eye, but at the very least, it won't be used to bomb jump over the Red Flag Bunker.
What actually happened is that there were about 5 Blues standing in the Doorway, and the mine landed on top of them. I don't know which god to thank, but the mine activates then and there, and suddenly, I get 5 kills, and the Forward Blue Flag is exposed. I only managed to get a screenshot after the fact because I was a builder, and ran off to open Paint.Net to process the image.

Needless to say, I love mines, they are amazing.
And if you were wondering, the Reds continued to chew through the underground and won the game, because all the Blues chased after a Flag Runner, leaving the Last Blue Flag Bunker exposed for another Flag Runner to scoop the Cap.

    In later news, Aphelion, <3

Just had a round of CTF, which was - surprisingly - a total stalemate once again. After some time both teams went down to only having one flag left, and then blue got to reds flag, and I got to blues. We basically exchanged flags.

    :kappa:

  9. actually managed to finish the game lol

took us 20 minutes after we completely destroyed every single tile of reds base and every single dirt tile under their base too. fucking awful bedrock distribution makes the map playable for 10 minutes and then it stalls

Spreading fear in Low-Tier RDM Servers~
Edit: [One of the highlights of that session, was that Mr. Existent (oconnor), or something, said that the only way to kill me was to use Kegs; other than that, one or so people professed their fear of Pants: I'm currently Pant_On_Head_Retarde (Boea), fyi~!]
Also, primary knight loadout is 2b/2w, secondary is 2b/1w/1m.
In RDM, however, I take a sparing amount of burgers, hearts, bombs, and water bombs, because the matches are short, so it really isn't worth splurging and practically giving the enemy some free supplies; anyways. I'm getting pretty good at bomb jumping and splashing.

I prefer to use coins as a measure of ability, they are easier to keep track of, and you really know how well you are doing, especially when you can consistently load up on purchasable items between deaths.

So I saw that the SHARK CTF server had 8 people on it, so I joined it. Some noob clan was practicing there, and thought they were the best because they were top of the scoreboard on blue team. After, I join I wreck them easily and they of course are angry. One of them switched teams and tried to vote-kick me for hacking....... They obviously couldn't see the correlation between the SHARK clan tag and the SHARK server as they had no clue I was an admin. And so, after I win the game, they all rage-quit and the SHARK server was yet again empty...

So I just wrecked the red team in CTF a little bit ago. The match was on a map with a little lake behind the team's spawn tent. I jumped in it a couple of times as a builder to ride the shark and was promptly gibbed; but then went knight and tried to ride it, I somehow picked it up!

Triumphant, I stomped my way up to the red barrier, my shark thrashing and thirsting for blood more than the water I was depriving it of. My comrades lined up behind their leader, and when the barrier was removed, we charged towards the opposing walls! Half-built and caddywhompus, our troupe clambered over it easily and was soon upon the terrified builders.

Verily, the slaughter was glorious; builders and soldiers alike in a full rout, unbeknownst to them that the shark was rendered unable to hurt them while it was wrapped in my boulder-like muscles. My blade, however, chopped down the fools one after another, until after a score of men were slaughtered, the enemy learned of the benign threat that I harbored. They finally killed me; but lo, the shark was enraged in my fall and flipped its shit over their spawn tent while my allies hauled the flag back to our castle walls.

    It was a good day.

It was in tth , i build a massive castle made out of stone.
Of course i did make a saw trap the keep the enemies away.
But it didnt worked well , and they placed a catapult and a balista and fucked up my castle.
Some knights just threw bombs down to the balista to kill the red guys .
A the end we won :D

I had the most amazing game the other night, taking down walls with nicely placed bombs, bomb jumping into the enemy's base, stealing drill and wrecking things until I was able to get the flag and run...
...Then I woke up...No joke I had a dream that was practically just a really good match of KAG
Never have I had a dream where I was playing a game, and never has it been so detailed...

But during a match that actually did happen, I have been playing a lot of that Bunnyfection mod server lately and actually managed to hid in a bush for practically the whole game. I started the game by quickly getting some stone and getting some holes dug, then filled them all in with stone to make it seem like closed off tunnels I was hiding in, meanwhile nearby I was sitting inside a bush laughing my head off as they spent most of the game chewing at stone walls!

I was just in an amazing match. I finally had to unleash my full power and it felt glorious.

What felt even better was that my team was full of good players as well. Shoutouts to Regicide (cjh) for his clutch tunnel and keeping our wall intact against a barrage from two ballistas and the endless conga line of grenadiers. Shoutout to KaiserBolt for busting a hole in their roof and switching between builder and knight as needed.
