Nobody is perfect. If every human being in the world was perfect, everyone would be exactly the same. There is only one perfection, but there can be many different kinds of imperfect.

What is a flaw you have, that without it, you wouldn't be you?

    I guess I'll go first. :)

I think my defining flaw is my tendency to always notice the flaws, blemishes, and the faults of things and people. I am very quick to judge somebody if they have done something that I dislike. This makes me a natural critic and skeptic, and sometimes will explain my behavior towards some of you (sorry in advance). This, I think, is my defining flaw, because in my opinion it is my attention to details combined with my imagination that makes me a decent artist.

Now it's time for you to tell me yours. Please don't say you're perfect, you'll just seem arrogant. :skull:

My only imperfection is that there isn't enough of me to go around.

But seriously though, I'd say it's that my biggest problem is that I'm an introvert and that as much as I'd like to speak up against someone, I won't (IRL, totally different on the internet, like most introverts on the internet).

What is this word, ''flaw'', it seems so imperfect to me, such a high being.

hue, On subject I would say my flaw is I'm a major procrastinator. I may end up not doing it at all if it's not something too important. Or, if it's for my enjoyment or friends, that's a completely different story.

There's a tiny spot on my neck that, if shot by a spunky young fighter pilot, will cause me to explode violently.

But real talk I have trouble forming close connections with people. I think a large part of this is that the personalities I project to the world are opposite to how I really I am when you get to know me better.

Used to be like that too, I'm still an introvert, but talking to strangers does not freeze me up anymore. This pretty much happened when I just said "fuck this" and did a funny, in a way self-humiliating performance in front of the whole school. I became popular (in a good way) because people had never seen me break out of my shell. Honestly, the only way to get rid of it is forcing yourself to socialise. Try to go to a social gathering with friends (parties) or such.

Or you can just wait and see how things turn out, there is no hurry. Embrace who you are:

    And the top comment:

My Achilles' Heel is that I'm so unstable, I can never do a single thing for very long, I try different things and get bored very quick. As such, I am really bad at meeting deadlines. I can also lapse into brooding depression at times.

For those people having problems being in-front of people, watch this, seriously. Six years ago or so I could barely say "hello" to a passing stranger, now I have been told to be the most social person on campus by some people. I fucking love holding speeches.

I was pretending that my then current existence was a happy one, but today I know that it was simply but a defensive mechanism. Everyone is different, but that is how it was. I told myself when I began a new school that I don't want this anymore. Begain forcing myself looking people in the eyes, actively thought about speaking slowly whenever that was.

When put in-front of a situation I would do the opposite of what I felt secure with. For cereal though, the video down below. Watch it, it's great.

My current achilles-heel most be someone scratching my back. I am fracking serious, if someone starts doing that on me, I just freeze up. Feels so good!

Somewhat related on how I became "braver", I also did powerpoint presentations in front of the class in high school, so I kind of got some some reassurance that it was not that bad.

Pretty much what everyone else has been saying in this thread. I'd say I have somewhat of a social anxiety but more really because I lack interest in whatever it is they're going on about and cant think of anything to add.

but on the internebs y'all have my hobbies and I can enjoy it more than real life, so in conclusion I tend to stay inside a lot more.

I think I ate a pound of shrimp last night, just boiled nothing special like a sauce or seasoning. And then I almost went to cook the rest of a bag of tiger shrimp before I stopped myself. Two bags of frozen snap peas evens it out I think, or is that just too much food again...

These 2 combined make my achilles heel, and trust me, being an introvert and "lasping into depression" does not make a good combo
