    Edit: Fixed it myself! simply DO NOT use mossy stone blocks or backwalls underground.

    Having an issue creating .png maps with zombie spawners, when I place wood/stone blocks and backwall deep underground and place Zombie Spawners inside them and then break the stone/wood wall or stone/wood block sunlight shines through, it defaults to air and not dirt backwall.

    Map dimensions are 300 by 300.

    Anyone know what the issue is?

    Why is hosting this game mode so difficult. I've followed every single instruction word to word. I know how to open my ports and players can join my game. But the map doesn't spawn us in?!

    i have the same problem Cptflowers, my serveur is running, me and my friends can join, but nobody can spawn : /

    Press the home key, and type /rcon /restartmap

    First you will have to login though

    So /rcon /login password

    I think, this answer might go to the tutorial for installation of Zombie Fortress.

    Maybe in the Zombie Fortress wiki.


    So, i'm connected but i can't join.

    I have try this :

    I have find, you must write :

    /rcon /login /password
    And after that

    /rcon /restartmap

    When ever I host this mod my inventory is messed up. Half the blocks are gone and there are large question marks replacing stone blocks and stone backwalls. Any idea how to fix this?

    I Have everything setup but when i connect to the server im basically in spectator mode. My character does not spawn

    Easy fix. When in game press HOME on your keyboard and type /rcon /nextmap.
    It should go next map and you should spawn.

    I have used all the information to get a server up and running, icons fixed, and people can join. The issue I am getting is everyone starts without a head. Just as well, no player character has any animations. If anyone could help me with this situation I would appreciate it. I have installed the server to the letter. Again player's heads are not showing up, as well as any animations. Thanks guys!

    I have attempted the resetmap and the nextmap function but that does not work, it just resets without spawns, also, server console says this:

    Excuse me, I just want to know how to spawn a Mega Saw after I become the owner of my server ? Is there any owner's commands just like "!team -1" ?

    If you have commands to spawn objects then the object name is "megasaw". Also the object name for the rocket launcher is "RocketLauncher". I have a script with spawn any object by using the ! in chat. So !megasaw and !RocketLauncher.

    First of all this is a great mod and I'm really digging it. I've had no problems hosting this on my server.

    Operating system: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

    Build number:
    [Zombies_v1.071]
    Description: Spikes sometimes appear like they do on wood/dirt while placed on stone but work like they should.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Build a stone structure.
    2. Put spikes on it.
    3. Keep doing this until you encounter a bugged spike (shouldn't take long)

    Description: Falling spikes can get stuck midair and become invincible. Deals damage to people falling onto them.


    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Build some backwall above ground level.
    2. Spam spikes on it.
    3. Keep doing it 'til one of them gets stuck midair.

    Description:
    And lastly bugged wires. You can see them not adapting their texture to connect with the surrounding wires.
    They don't lead a signal through and you can't target that specific wire when trying to remove it (can be destroyed with a bomb).


    Steps to reproduce:
    1. I currently got no reproducing tutorial on this one, but will update once I find a way to reproduce.
